Our company is looking for a Supply Chain Analyst to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage supplier relationships closely and ensure that is it a collaborative partnership;
  • Ensure that the demand/forecast plan is communicated with suppliers, to ensure effective management of stock ordering/PO placing;
  • Ownership of product data within ERP system;
  • Support Sales and Buyers improve revenue and margins;
  • To provide a customer service point of contact for clients;
  • Lead/Support the rollout of BI across the Southampton facility, and wider group;
  • Designing and implementing methods to gather and manage supply chain data;
  • Own supply chain metrics and drive governance/compliance;
  • Review inventory profiles, excess inventory analysis and reduction;
  • Own MRP process and drive improved use of MRP;
  • Reviewing and auditing product data, 3PL & supplier compliance and performance to established SLAs and KPIs;
  • Ownership of material forecasting inputs/outputs and drive improved forecast accuracy;
  • Automate purchasing team processes.

Requirements:

  • To work with the customers, Supply Chain Operations Manager and Account Managers to optimise distribution costs;
  • Bachelors/Masters degree in a scientific subject / engineering /supply chain management;
  • To make regular visits to the customer to discuss relevant issues;
  • Knowledge of R / Python and automation;
  • Organized, self-starter and a quick learner;
  • Excellent communicating and negotiating skills coupled with ability to comfortably and confidently present to all levels within the company;
  • Experience and passion to work on innovative ideas and create and build new processes;
  • Previous experience in a highly analytical environment;
  • Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment;
  • To continually ensure that all supply Chain processes lead to improved levels of customer service;
  • To regularly review processes and to recommend and implement strategies for on-going operational;
  • To identify sales opportunities and feedback into the forecast process as appropriate;
  • Strong data analysis skills, ability to produce, interpret and draw conclusions from data;
  • Must be detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through on projects;
  • To provide a high standard of customer care and promote company quality standards at all times.
