Our company is looking for a Supply Chain Planner to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Create / place / manage purchase orders with all suppliers in accordance with the company policy;
  • Manage goods in bookings weekly in co-ordination with the Warehouse manager;
  • To provide a weighbridge service;
  • Inventory control via daily monitoring of stock movements and monthly stock checks;
  • Report and review all OTIF (on time and in full) misses and identify process improvements to continuously improve the performance;
  • Raising Manufacturing Orders for our Shopfloor, based on manufacturing lead-times and customer demand;
  • Perform gap analysis between Customer Required Date and Acknowledged Date – thinking of creative ways to bridge the gap;
  • Material planning to ensure adequate raw materials for the production plan;
  • Implement and maintain supplier KPI milestones;
  • Analysis of customer forecasts in order to maximise efficiency, reduce back orders and minimise stock-holding;
  • Drive improvements in software and working practice, whilst managing changes to the supply chain structure and profile;
  • Work in partnership with the Sales & Marketing teams to manage promotional offers;
  • Conduct benchmark analysis for stock and inventory interrogation;
  • Responsible for inventory control and demand planning for core warehouses and key product groups;
  • Develop customer and country level forecasts in line with the company budget.

Requirements:

  • Communication skills;
  • Administrative experience;
  • SAP experience (not essential);
  • Proactive and takes ownership, using own initiative;
  • A knowledge of the hard services and facilities management sectors is desirable;
  • Strong analytical and communication skills;
  • Experience in demand forecasting and materials planning;
  • Must have a flexible approach to working;
  • Able to work alone and un-supervised whilst also being an active procurement team member;
  • High levels of self-initiative with an intuitive nature towards problem solving;
  • Graduate Calibre preferred;
  • Financial awareness;
  • Keep problem solver with a can do attitude;
  • Adopt a highly organised and methodical approach towards tasks;
  • Ability to remain focused in a busy environment and pay attention to detail.
