Our company is looking for a Care Worker to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out agreed care plans and maintain records as required;
- Working in line with Ridge View Homes care policies and procedures at all times;
- Flexibly work a range of shift patterns including weekends;
- Promoting customer health and wellbeing, enabling them to live their life to the full;
- Supporting learning experiences at home and in the wider community;
- Managing complex and challenging behaviour;
- Manual handling, using equipment where required;
- Encouraging participation in daily tasks;
- Administering medication;
- Reporting and recording key aspects of care;
- Providing personal care duties;
- Developing personal and practical skills to enhance independent living.
Requirements:
- Able to work independently and as part of a team;
- Have the flexibility and willingness to work shifts, including weekends;
- Keen to work with young people and adults with autism and associated difficulties;
- Be willing to train to Level 2 Diploma in Health & Social Care (Adults) – funded by Options.
