Responsibilities:
- To undertake the supervision of staff;
- Deputise for the Assistant Service Managers when required;
- Assist with the day to day management of the team;
- To manage the duty team jointly with our 2 nd Senior Social Worker and oversee all incoming referrals and safeguarding concerns.
Requirements:
- Act as a recognised expert within the specialist field.These experienced social workers are more autonomous in their role;
- They chair a range of meetings, offer expert support to case conferences, and produce high quality assessments and reports for a range of functions;
- Section 47 Assessments;
- They manage complex caseloads, and offer expert opinion within the organisation and to others.
