IT Infrastructure Specialist Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Keep all stakeholders and users updated with changes;
- Plan, manage, improve and implement projects to suit business needs and help achieve business goals;
- Ensure all changes and improvements are performed efficiently, with minimal disruption to the BAU;
- Work with Stakeholders across the business to ensure the successful integration of new mergers/acquisitions;
- Collaborate with the global team on any Global initiatives and project roll outs;
- Respond to 2nd/3rd line escalations through to resolution;
- Provision new systems, test and roll out software updates, and assist with office moves and relocations;
- Liaise with third party support and external suppliers to maintain ongoing software and hardware support.
Requirements:
- Experience with VMWare, Windows servers (2008,2012 & 2016), Active Directory, IP, WAN, and LAN;
- Knowledge of HP Servers & Switches;
- Experience working in an IT Project environment;
- Previous exposure to Symantec IT applications suite;
- Understanding of ITIL would be ideal;
- At least 3 years hands on experience within Infrastructure.
