Our company is looking for a IT Support Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Deal with all queries, incidents coming through and provide solutions where possible, owning the resolution of each customer query;
  • To manage their own case load of incidents working with the clients to resolve in a timely fashion;
  • Assisting with any department moves and other ad hoc requests as provided by senior management;
  • Windows and OSX Operating Systems and related hardware;
  • Attempt first time fix; working with the user and your team to try to resolve the issue as quickly as possible;
  • To troubleshoot issues;
  • Carry out duties in accordance with Company and IT Policy and Procedures, contribute to improving and determining standards;
  • Movement of IT hardware around Trust site;
  • Support internal compliance including maintaining Software License Management, PCI Compliance and Asset Management;
  • Using the ticketing system to log, work and resolve requests;
  • Act as the first point of contact within your team for retail support, including EPOS, Back Office, Tablets and associated store infrastructure;
  • Efficient and professional customer service skills;
  • Act as a point of contact between the organisation and supplier, reporting on supplier performance;
  • Training will be given in order for you to support a range of applications & Remote working;
  • Logging all work requests on internal ticketing system and keeping users up to date with tickets.

Requirements:

  • Active Directory;
  • Good time management skills;
  • Dedicated to the delivery of excellent customer service, the role holder will have a flexible approach to work and the ability to problem solve;
  • Degree level or equivalent qualification or able to demonstrate equivalent experience;
  • Google Cloud/AWS (Beneficial);
  • MS Active Directory;
  • Windows Server 2008/2012;
  • User Support and Troubleshooting experience;
  • Bespoke educational software installation and troubleshooting;
  • General hardware and software installation;
  • A valid driving licence is essential;
  • Proactive – willingness to take ownership of issues;
  • Office 365;
  • Experienced in AV products, TVs Projectors and general classroom equipment;
  • Networking Experience.
