Our company is looking for a Recruitment Consultant to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Working as an integral member of a team, motivating one another and communicating effectively;
  • eMail marketing;
  • Making outbound calls daily with the intentions to book client visits & take on new job vacancies;
  • Prospecting new business via telephone;
  • preparing CV’s and correspondence to forward to clients in respect of suitable applicants in an accurate and timely manner;
  • Posting adverts yo attract applicants;
  • Meeting with clients to understand current and future requirements;
  • Building a strong candidate pool and solid client base;
  • Database updates and management;
  • To be aware of and operate within any relevant laws/legislation associated with the employment of people;
  • Placing candidates into work for Training and Education clients, however open to other divisions to start and set up instead;
  • Registering candidates and ensuring all correct documents are received;
  • Arranging candidate interviews;
  • Understand that the role is fast-paced, and target driven, with daily structure and activities to ensure targets are met or exceeded;
  • Negotiate recruitment terms, fees and contracts.

Requirements:

  • Agile forward thinker;
  • Outstanding relationship-building skills;
  • Excellent computer skills;
  • 2+ years of recruitment experience;
  • Good level of MS office competence;
  • Developing a strategy for growing your client portfolio;
  • Must be able to work under pressure;
  • Have knowledge of Sales and business development;
  • Background in recruitment or sales would be an advantage, but is not essential;
  • To ensure all processes and compliance procedures are followed;
  • Ability to pro-actively develop and nurture relationships;
  • A great team player, able to act as a ”buddy to new starters”;
  • Excellent general knowledge as well as being a creative thinker and problem solver;
