Software Installation Engineer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Software Installation Engineer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Travel if required;
- Provides database/site copies for customers;
- Install/upgrade MasterControl Software for customers;
- Troubleshoot issues during the installation/upgrade and other assigned activities.
Requirements:
- Must be able to analyze technical issues and develop creative solutions which minimize risk and ensure successful deployment of software solutions;
- Strong relationship skills to work with all internal and external customers;
- Understanding of VMWare environments;
- Excellent customer relationship and advocacy skills;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to comprehend and communicate technical information precisely and unambiguously;
- General knowledge of GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance) industry is preferred;
- Excellent problem determination and problem source identification (PD/PSI) skills;
- Some SQL and Oracle database skills;
- Self-starter, initiator, strong organizational, presentation, interpersonal and consultative skills a must.
