Our company is looking for a Technical Support Consultant to join our team.


  • Provide technical support for our other customer segments (steel fabrication and engineering);
  • Localisation of the software to support industry standards and customer needs;
  • Work closely with HQ and UK concrete segment teams;
  • DR planning and execution;
  • Managing back up and cloud strategies;
  • Providing technical support internally and to external clients and partners;
  • Client site based consultancy;
  • Trouble shooting and problem solving;
  • Client migrations and configurations.


  • Experience of process development in the construction industry;
  • Ability to work in a flat hierarchy and networked international company environment;
  • A good working knowledge and experience with databases such as MySQL;
  • The ability to resolve problems, understand complex situations and most importantly a desire to deliver a high level of service;
  • Understanding of communication protocols and concepts such as TCP/UDP, IP, NAT, Port Forwarding, FTP, RS232, RS422;
  • Excellent communication skills, both in written and verbal format is essential;
  • Computer Science/Engineering degree or higher education equivalent;
  • A level of knowledge and understanding of GSM networks;
  • A good level of experience with IP Networks, networking concepts and router technology;
  • Cloud based networking technologies;
  • A good understanding of computers, networking and a level of software development;
  • Any exposure to backup and storage technologies would also be valuable;
  • The ability to understand and articulate computer networking, IP addressing, Ethernet protocols is essential;
  • Windows Server admin;
  • Good knowledge of up to date Microsoft & Windows based technologies.
