Our company is looking for a Electrician to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Remedial work;
• Portable Appliance Testing;
• Inspect and replace old wiring and insulated cables, clean circuits and other elements to prevent breakdown of systems;
• Trunking;
• Electrical installations (single phase, 3 phase and Star Delta);
• Inspection, Testing and certification in compliance with 18th edition wiring regulations;
• PAT Testing;
• possible and reporting any difficulties encountered to the Resource Controller and /or Foreman;
• Modifying existing electrical installations on single phase, 3 phase and Star Delta;
• Undertake all work efficiently and cost effectively, minimising non-productive time wherever;
• You may be asked to undertake some Multi Skilled tasks including tiling, building, general operative duties as and when required;
• Completing works within commercial and domestic properties;
• Carrying out testing and maintenance on occupied and void properties;
• Report all accidents, incidents and near misses;
• Completing rewires throughout the property.

Requirements:

• 18th Edition;
• 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification;
• City and Guilds 2394 -Initial Verification and Certification of Electrical Installations, and;
• Has completed a recognised electrical apprenticeship;
• City & Guilds 2391-10 or 2394/5 in inspection and testing qualification, or equivalent;
• Preferred qualification in Portable Appliance Testing;
• You must have an understanding of H&S in the workplace;
• PASMA;
• The conformance of all equipment to existing and new electrical standards;
• PASMA / IPAF (Desirable);
• Portable Appliance Testing;
• Electrically qualified;
• ECS Gold Card;
• Experience in the Industrial sector;
• Own tools, test equipment and PPE.
