- Providing pupils with appropriate feedback, support and encouragement;
- Marking, planning and setting additional work if required to aid pupil development;
- An ability to use ICT as a teaching resource and for personal administration.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from an accredited university;
- 2-4 years of teaching experience (Recommended but not required);
- Willingness and ability to work as part of a team;
- Biology Specialism;
- Reflect competency in using lab equipment and conducting lab sessions;
- Excellent subject knowledge that can stretch the most able and interested students;
- Use e-books, assessment and analyzing data related to achievement;
- Proven enthusiasm, organisation and flexibility (essential);
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing;
- Ability to prioritise and organise own work;
- Seek continuous professional development opportunities in Biology teaching;
- Degree in the subject teaching;
- Experience in teaching British curriculum;
- Have the right to work in the UK without sponsorship (essential);
- A University degree in a biology discipline.
