Our company is looking for a Early Years Practitioner to join our team.

Liaise with the Local Authority and other professionals associated with the Nursery;
Work alongside the management and staff team to ensure that the vision and values of the company are fully implemented and upheld;
To plan and prepare activities relating to children’s interests and abilities;
To work as a good team member;
To follow policies and procedures;
To ensure the company policies and procedures are fully implemented and followed in your area and across the nursery;
To work closely as a team, with an emphasis on promoting partnership with parents;
To work in partnership with parents;
To monitor and record each individual child’s progress;
Liaise with and support parents and other family members;
Planning for children individually;
Keeping accurate developmental observations, records & reports;
Help with personal care when needed;
Safeguard children at all times;
Promoting independence – teaching children about hand washing and important routines.

You must have legal right to work in the UK;
Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and all employment breaks must be explained;
Relevant skills for working with children aged 0 – 5 years;
Previous experience of working in a Day Nursery;
Have a clear understanding of the EYFS, statutory frameworks and guidance;
Have the ability to read a book upside down and not be afraid to get dressed up and stuck into messy play;
Form relationships with parents and children alike;
Maintain and ensure the safety of the premises with particular reference to the safety of the children. Follow the settlings policies and procedures;
Safeguarding with Children;
ASAP starts;
Experience in an early years setting would be advantageous or experience working in a childcare setting either in schools or care;
Good written and verbal communication skills;
Experience of working with children;
CACHE Level 1, 2, 3 or equivalent;
Degree in early years education or related to childcare.
