KS2 Teaching Assistant Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a KS2 Teaching Assistant to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Effectively feeding back;
- Assisting the Class Teacher in managing behaviour;
- Supporting children’s social and emotional development;
- Creating classroom displays;
- Engaging, motivating and encouraging learners;
- Delivering tailored learning activities and providing learning support to individuals and small groups of children across the curriculum;
- Attending meetings and contributing to the extra-curricular opportunities provided by the school;
- Record keeping and administrative tasks, such a preparing resources.
Requirements:
- Child workforce DBS on update service or willing to apply for a new DBS;
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or above;
- Pro-active, hardworking and committed to making a positive impact;
- Recent experience working alongside children in Key Stage 2.
