Our company is looking for a Maths Teacher to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Developing approaches to Self-Directed Learning and use technology to support learning;
- Contribute to subject development by producing, reviewing and updating curriculum plans and schemes of work;
- Adhering to the school’s policies and procedures;
- Role model for students that are ‘proud of their school’;
- Working within a well established Maths department;
- Produce reports for parents in line with the school calendar;
- Providing pupils with necessary feedback, encouragement and support;
- Establish effective working relationships with colleagues and set an outstanding example to stakeholders through personal and professional conduct;
- Faith secondary school;
- Main Pay Scale / UPS;
- Staff meetings/parent evenings;
- Enfield;
- Ensuring a constructive working environment;
- Marking, planning and setting additional work, if required;
- Plan and Prepare classes.
Requirements:
- Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and all employment breaks must be explained;
- Enjoy being part of a supportive team;
- Possess experience of working in a secondary school teaching Maths to KS3 and KS4;
- To possess effective classroom management strategies;
- Being able to teach Maths up to KS4 (and possibly KS5);
- Access to own vehicle is preferred;
- Being able to demonstrate the ability to raise standards;
- There may be an opportunity to also teach up to KS5;
- High degree of technology skills and educational software and materials;
- PGCE or equivalent qualification in Education;
- A clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check or police check;
- Bachelor’s degree in mathematics;
- SEN Experience Preferred;
- Qualified Teacher Status from either the UK, Australia, New Zealand, USA, Canada, Ireland or South Africa;
- Experienced in using the graphing calculator is an advantage.
