Our company is looking for a Primary SEN Teacher to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Fostering a caring atmosphere and showing commitment to the well-being and social and academic progress of each pupil;
  • Organizing the work of the teaching assistant;
  • Ensuring the creativity and high quality of teaching and learning of the class, assisted by a teaching assistant;
  • Acting as Form Teacher of a class consisting of up to 24 pupils;
  • Sharing responsibilities for curriculum development, display, performances, trips and organizing some aspects of special events.

Requirements:

  • High proficiency in English;
  • Up to date knowledge of the national curriculum related to Primary education;
  • Work Standards / Quality Orientation;
  • Have previous experience working within a SEN environment or have always wanted to;
  • Decisive;
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education specialized in Special Education Needs or Learning Support;
  • Creativity/ Innovative/takes initiative;
  • Planning & Organising Work;
  • An understanding of the IB and the key underpinnings of the curriculum frameworks is essential;
  • Experience teaching KS1 and KS2 pupils;
  • Minimum 2 years’ classroom teaching experience in a mainstream school;
  • QTS or extensive teaching experience;
  • Successful class room teaching experience;
  • Analysis and problem-solving;
  • Strong communication skills.
