Our company is looking for a Science Teacher to join our team.

  • Teaching BTEC Science qualifications;
  • Managing behaviour and following Academy policies;
  • Teaching Science Lessons up to KS4;
  • To work effectively within the Science team to continually improve pupil outcomes;
  • To comply with the procedures and routines of the department or departments within which the teacher’s assigned classes fall;
  • To comply with the Teachers’ Standards and for fill full teaching responsibilities;
  • To track and monitor the progress of students and ensure timely interventions are made as needed;
  • To plan and teach outstanding Science lessons to year 7 to 11 following the agreed departmental schemes. ;

Requirements:

  • PGCE or QTS;
  • Registered with EWC (Education Workforce Council) this can be completed during recruitment process;
  • Minimum Teaching Experience: a minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in the related specialty;
  • Experience of Science to KS4 and A level for the right person;
  • Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree in the related subject, or relevant Teaching Certification / PGCE;
  • Good knowledge of the Science national curriculum;
  • Be specialised in Chemistry, Biology or Physics;
  • You must hold a relevant Degree to your subject;
  • Have QTS or QTLS;
