Our company is looking for a Manufacturing Supervisor to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Write and present training to employee performance reviews (M-FEE);
  • Maintain and present training to subordinates on every manufacturing procedure, processes and equipment;
  • Set standard operating procedures and manufacturing guidelines;
  • Strict cost adherence with agreed budgets;
  • Secure Plant availability (cleaning, servicing and maintenance);
  • Ensure to comply with all manufacturing reporting as needed;
  • Develop, maintain and update control procedures, manufacturing forms and working instructions;
  • Effective use of the company’s time management system;
  • Lead by example by always behaving in line with the company values;
  • Operate various machines;
  • To monitor and manager performance; setting individual and team targets & objectives;
  • Liaise with all planning activities;
  • Identify efficiencies;
  • Manage all employees within the Machine Shop and Paint Shop area;
  • To supervise the production operation in line with the production plan.

Requirements:

  • Experience of GMP and BRC is essential;
  • Good knowledge of SAP and Microsoft office;
  • Familiar with Process Control Systems (Siemens, Practicon etc);
  • Practical with common sense;
  • Self-motivated and conscientious;
  • Quick but accurate;
  • Excellent attention to detail;
  • Experience in a similar role is essential, preferably having completed a course related to management and leadership;
  • Experience of operating machines (engineering/manufacturing);
  • Highly Organised;
  • Effective communicator and able to clearly give instructions to staff members;
  • Able to work independently;
  • Extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes;
  • Knowledge in Kaizen, 5S, Lean manufacturing;
  • Must be able to demonstrate leadership qualities.
