Our company is looking for a Chef de Partie to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that kitchen preparation and clear down procedures are followed on a daily basis;
- Ensuring that Food and Beverage rooms are cleared at the end of each event;
- To implement all new ideas and procedures as instructed by Head Chef;
- Providing high quality dishes;
- To follow and abide by all regulations and policies;
- Take orders from Sous Chef and delegate tasks to Commis and Demi Chefs;
- Plan the day-to-day running of your section effectively to meet the service and forecasting in line with business needs;
- Ensure that all specified procedures are understood and adhered to, to those required by law;
- Ensure effective stock rotation is being completed correctly;
- Suggest personal recipes and menu planning ideas to snr Chefs;
- Be responsible for a specific area of the kitchen;
- Communicate all information to the chefs in your section about the hotels business;
- Responsible for the day to day running of your section;
- Assist with the other Kitchen duties on an as needs basis;
- Prepare menu items according to your station.
Requirements:
- A flexible attitude;
- An honest team player with great communication skills;
- Applicants must be well presented and have strong communication skills;
- Eager to learn and develop;

- Have a background of using fresh ingredients;
- £22,500 plus tips;
- Preparing fresh ingredients;
- AA Rosette is preferred;
- Completion of compulsory education to a satisfactory standard;
- Carrying out the smooth and efficient running of your section;
- Applicants will be required to demonstrate a high level of previous experience in a high production culinary environment;
- Possess a formal qualification in culinary arts from a recognized culinary training institution;
- Experience, as a Chef de Partie, gained in a pub, hotel or restaurant;
- Excellent communication skills with colleagues and guests.
