Our company is looking for a Chef de Partie to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that kitchen preparation and clear down procedures are followed on a daily basis;
  • Ensuring that Food and Beverage rooms are cleared at the end of each event;
  • To implement all new ideas and procedures as instructed by Head Chef;
  • Providing high quality dishes;
  • To follow and abide by all regulations and policies;
  • Take orders from Sous Chef and delegate tasks to Commis and Demi Chefs;
  • Plan the day-to-day running of your section effectively to meet the service and forecasting in line with business needs;
  • Ensure that all specified procedures are understood and adhered to, to those required by law;
  • Ensure effective stock rotation is being completed correctly;
  • Suggest personal recipes and menu planning ideas to snr Chefs;
  • Be responsible for a specific area of the kitchen;
  • Communicate all information to the chefs in your section about the hotels business;
  • Responsible for the day to day running of your section;
  • Assist with the other Kitchen duties on an as needs basis;
  • Prepare menu items according to your station.

Requirements:

  • A flexible attitude;
  • An honest team player with great communication skills;
  • Applicants must be well presented and have strong communication skills;
  • Eager to learn and develop;
  • Assist with the other Kitchen duties on an as needs basis;
  • Have a background of using fresh ingredients;
  • £22,500 plus tips;
  • Preparing fresh ingredients;
  • AA Rosette is preferred;
  • Completion of compulsory education to a satisfactory standard;
  • Carrying out the smooth and efficient running of your section;
  • Applicants will be required to demonstrate a high level of previous experience in a high production culinary environment;
  • Possess a formal qualification in culinary arts from a recognized culinary training institution;
  • Experience, as a Chef de Partie, gained in a pub, hotel or restaurant;
  • Excellent communication skills with colleagues and guests.
