Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with suppliers;
  • Carrying out stock checks;
  • Assisting with general branch duties;
  • Handle sales enquire at the counter or by telephone;
  • Assisting in the warehouse as required;
  • Replenishing stock and helping keep the front of house presentable;
  • VDU Operation;
  • Dealing with customers over the phone and face to face;
  • Replenishing stock and helping to keep the front of house area presentable;
  • Acquiring new businesses through generating leads and telesales;
  • Sales development;
  • Serving customers on the trade counter and via telephone;
  • General office and admin duties;
  • Picking customer orders;
  • Some Van driving duties on occasions.

Requirements:

  • PC Literate;
  • Presentable – Customer facing job role;
  • Team Player;
  • Physically Fit;
  • Clean UK licence;
  • Flexibility to work Saturdays on a rota;
  • Experience within a builders merchants an advantage;
  • Work references are essential.
