Our company is looking for a Behaviour Support Worker to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- supporting pupils to develop effective social skills, resolve conflict positively through mentoring, counselling and advice;
- resolving behaviour issues for individuals and groups of pupils and monitor behaviour in lessons, corridors, before school, at break and lunch times.
Requirements:
- Previous experience of youths demonstrating challenging behaviour and a proven track record of using de-escalation methods successfully;
- Be confident in managing challenging behaviour as well as being enthusiastic and a positive role model for the students.
