Our company is looking for a Care Support Worker to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children in accordance with High Peak School ‘Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy’
  • Successfully completing all training and qualifications in accordance with organisational and regulatory requirements;
  • Establishing warm, caring and professional relationships with the children in his / her care;
  • Providing or contributing to oral and written assessments, reports and reviews relating to individual children or groups of children;
  • Being a Key Worker for a child or small group of children offering appropriate levels of support, guidance and care;
  • Assist with drinking, feeding and meal times;
  • Developing positive working relationships with the multi-disciplinary team;
  • Assisting with nutritional and feedings requirements;
  • Assisting with daily living and domestic duties;
  • Keeping records in line with regulatory requirements;
  • Completing all necessary administrative duties;
  • Helping students with all aspects of daily living;
  • Assisting residents who need support with a range of daily activities, including; dressing; bathing; preparation of meals; and toileting;
  • Assist with dressing and undressing, ensuring freedom of choice by the service users, showing dignity and respect at all times;
  • Assist with mobility and transfers, using any specialised equipment correctly and in accordance with moving and handling techniques.
