Our company is looking for a Lead Practitioner to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Make regular observations of the environment, keyperson time, staff interactions etc. to ensure practice is reflective and improved on;
  • Organise the day to day deployment of staff, responding to requests and Helping devise a team structure to meet the needs of clients;
  • Working in partnership with parents /carers and other family members, including ‘show arounds’ and promoting the Nursery;
  • Overseeing the efficient upkeep of continuous and enhanced provision resources indoors and outdoors;
  • Developing relationships with LAs in order to increase Education other than at school (EOTAS);
  • Help manage the process of matching staff to schools and EOTAS pupils;
  • Deliver and or organise relevant training to staff and clients;
  • To attend staff meetings and training as directed by the Manager and to lead this when required;
  • Development With the head of service, help writing, reviewing and evaluating the Outreach Service development plan and ensuring it is implemented;
  • Working with the head of service to design and organise relevant staff training;
  • Manage the operational aspects of the placement of staff in schools and contribute to ensuring its quality;
  • To support and mentor other practitioners, including ensuring they fully understand the principles of the EYFS;
  • To ensure Key Carer systems are in place and parents know who are responsible for the main care and development of their children;
  • Ensure that there are sufficient high quality staff available to meet the needs of our clients;
  • To keep up to date with current legislation and guidance and maintain a sound knowledge of the Company policies and procedures.
