Our company is looking for a Registered Nurse – Nights to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the induction and orientation of new members of the Care Team;
- Organise and supervise the work of the Care Team;
- Acting as a mentor and undertake teaching of carers and students;
- Update and contribute to care plans;
- Acting as the Named Nurse for a group of residents;
- Supervise team members, ensuring shifts run smoothly and efficiently;
- Ensuring that high standards of care are delivered and supporting the Care Team in providing personal care;
- Participate in the training of new care assistants and nurses;
- Experience of Mentorship and a supervisor qualification would be desirable, but are not essential;
- Administer, review and monitor service user medication;
- Communicate with service users, families and other healthcare professionals;
- Planning, supervising and delivering terminal care interventions to residents;
- To be responsible for dealing with health matters relating to residents and for liaising with the families and GP’s of residents;
- To administer prescribed medication in accordance with NMC, CQC, royal Pharmaceutical Society guidelines and Group Policies at all times;
- To be the Responsible Person in Charge in the absence of the Home Manager /Deputy.

- End of life care and Verification of expected death;
- Venepuncture;
- Catheterisation skills;
- T34 Syringe Driver;
- Training courses on coaching and development to promote leadership skills;
