Our company is looking for a Registered Nurse – Nights to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the induction and orientation of new members of the Care Team;
  • Organise and supervise the work of the Care Team;
  • Acting as a mentor and undertake teaching of carers and students;
  • Update and contribute to care plans;
  • Acting as the Named Nurse for a group of residents;
  • Supervise team members, ensuring shifts run smoothly and efficiently;
  • Ensuring that high standards of care are delivered and supporting the Care Team in providing personal care;
  • Participate in the training of new care assistants and nurses;
  • Experience of Mentorship and a supervisor qualification would be desirable, but are not essential;
  • Administer, review and monitor service user medication;
  • Communicate with service users, families and other healthcare professionals;
  • Planning, supervising and delivering terminal care interventions to residents;
  • To be responsible for dealing with health matters relating to residents and for liaising with the families and GP’s of residents;
  • To administer prescribed medication in accordance with NMC, CQC, royal Pharmaceutical Society guidelines and Group Policies at all times;
  • To be the Responsible Person in Charge in the absence of the Home Manager /Deputy.

  • End of life care and Verification of expected death;
  • Venepuncture;
  • Catheterisation skills;
  • T34 Syringe Driver;
  • Training courses on coaching and development to promote leadership skills;
