Our company is looking for a Registered Nurse RGN to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Risk assessment of forensic patients;
- Taking accurate medical history;
- Administering medication;
- The implementation of care and treatment plans;
- Reviewing and planning care for patients;
- Carrying out X-ray examinations;
- Supporting patients and teaching them how to examine themselves;
- Supporting patients and explain procedures;
- Have confidence in holding presentations in front of a small group of people on a monthly basis;
- Liaising with other professionals to deliver holistic care to patients.
Requirements:
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels;
- Ability to motivate and delegate effectively;
- Current valid NMC registration;
- Minimum of six months experience within the last year working on a general ward;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Previous experience working as a staff nurse or registered nurse in a Care Home environment is desirable but not essential;
- A committed and organised approach;
- Venepuncture;
- Tracheostomy care;
- Providing the highest standards of medical or palliative care at all times;
- Suprapubic Catheter;
- Valid pin with the NMC;
- You will be a team player working alongside the Registered Manager and other care professionals;
- Post registration experience (minimum 1 year);
- Planning, assessing, delivering and evaluating individual care.
