Student Nurse: Care Assistant Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Student Nurse: Care Assistant to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Listening and talking to patients;
- Looking after the physical comfort of patients, for example helping them to wash themselves and emptying bedpans;
- Helping patients to eat and to move about, if they have mobility problems;
- Keeping areas clean and tidy, for example cleaning of equipment and making and changing beds;
- Recording basic observations such as blood pressure and temperature.
Requirements:
- The right to live and work in the UK;
- Access to your own vehicle is desirable, but not mandatory;
- At least 3 months’ previous care experience;
- Minimum of 3 months previous care experience;
- Have access to a smart device, with internet access to manage your rotas;
- Certification in practical Moving & Handling course, completed in the last 12 months;
- Access to a smart device with internet to manage rotas via the HealthForceGo® app;
- You will need access to a smartphone with internet access to manage your rota via our homecare app;
- At least 3 months’ previous paid experience working in a care environment in the UK within the last 3 years;
- The desire to work in a team to better the lives of service users;
- Although having access to your own vehicle is desirable, it is not mandatory;
- Access to a smart phone or device with internet access to manage your rotas and timesheets on our HealthForceGo app;
- Access to your own vehicle is desirable, but not essential;
- Access to your own vehicle is desirable with many packages of care having agreed mileage pay;
- Access to a smart device with internet to manage rotas via the Health Force Go app.
