Our company is looking for a Waking Night Support Worker to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Going to the theatre and cinema;
  • To maintain effective communication and liaison with service users, families and other whilst respecting appropriate confidentiality;
  • Sports;
  • Drama and the performing arts;
  • Developing the independent living skills of the service users;
  • Arts;
  • Cooking;
  • Collaborating with Service users, Families and Professionals on a daily basis;
  • Volunteering;
  • To assist with End-of-Life Care for service users who are terminally ill;
  • Personal care;
  • To assist service users who need help or reassurance, providing light drinks or refreshments where required;
  • To read and write reports, and to participate in staff and service users’ meetings as appropriate;
  • To assist day staff in preparing service users for bed, as required;
  • To iron laundered garments and linen, mending/darning where practical.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 children and young people or equivalent;
  • Knowledge of current legislation;
