Responsibilities:

  • Assembly and Test of innovative prototype products;
  • Build of cable assemblies and wiring harnesses;
  • Working within a best practice environment respecting all Health and Safety standards;
  • Occasional travel is necessary for offsite product testing;
  • Debug of both analogue and digital circuits to component level.

Requirements:

  • Assembly and Test of innovative prototype products;
  • Experience of designing and constructing electronic equipment;
  • Experience of maintaining/repairing a range of electronic equipment;
  • HNC, HND, Degree or equivalent in Electronic Engineering or appropriate experience;
  • Build of cable assemblies and wiring harnesses;
  • Working within a best practice environment respecting all Health and Safety standards;
  • Experience working with mains voltages;
  • Broad knowledge of electronic test and measurement equipment;
  • Working knowledge of analogue and digital electronics down to component level;
  • Debug of both analogue and digital circuits to component level;
  • Occasional travel is necessary for offsite product testing;
  • RSciTech / EngTech or willingness to work towards these or equivalent professional qualifications.
