Our company is looking for a Handyman to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Basic Carpentry skill;
- Supervising external contractors;
- Key Holding – opening and closing site;
- Fixing doors;
- Assisting trades;
- To complete ADHOC tasks on siteSkills;
- Testing pool water;
- Temporary repairs to floor covering;
- Moving furniture;
- Changing locks;
- Reporting any maintenance or H&S issues to the helpdesk and appropriate manager;
- Weekly & monthly planned maintenance tasks as scheduled (fire alarm tests, water temperature recording, emergency lighting tests, etc);
- Minor Carpentry repairs to doors, door frames, windows and all over aspects of timber constructions and fixing of shelves and pictures;
- To provide excellent customer service to all clients;
- General janitorial duties as requested.
Requirements:
- CSCS Card;
- Full PPE;
- Have previous experience;
- Good written and oral communication skills;
- Excellent interpersonal Skills;
- vulnerable people;
- Excellent organisational skills;
- Good understanding of the needs and service requirements of older and other;
- Open to working out of office hours to meet the needs of the service;
- DBS essential;
- Good IT skills and understanding of how digital services can help improve the;
- Professional attitude;
- customer experience;
- The Handyman will be required to attend to emergency out of hours call outs and will hold a full UK driving licence;
- Flexible and willing to adapt to change.
