Our company is looking for a Parts Advisor to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Be the first point of contact for all parts enquiries providing a knowledgeable and efficient service personifying the brand;
  • All administration relating to returns to be completed as soon as possible and returned to the manufacturer;
  • Qualify all trade customers and ensure customer expectations and requirements are identified, and successfully managed;
  • Promote the company in all aspects of its business;
  • Be able to prospect for new business;
  • Working closely with the logistics department to ensure all parts are delivered in the agreed time frame;
  • To achieve a level of profitability that meets departmental, branch and company expectations;
  • Dealing with customer enquiries;
  • Pro-active and enthusiastic when speaking with customers;
  • Looking up and ordering franchised and non-franchised parts;
  • Keen eye for detail;
  • Liaising with parts stock check;
  • Able to work under pressure;
  • Previous experience in a target driven role;
  • Dealing with any customer enquiries over the phone and face to face.

Requirements:

  • Honest with high levels of integrity;
  • The Ideal candidate will have experience in a Parts Advisor role within a Dealership environment;
  • Must be computer and IT literate with previous experience using Kerridge;
  • Knowledge and experience in either the agricultural, automotive or plant machinery industry;
  • Understand basic vehicle make-up;
  • Taking care of customers, colleagues and the trade promptly and exceeding customer expectations both face to face and via the telephone;
  • Great team player, willing to help others;
  • Previous main car dealership and Kerridge experience is essential;
  • Motor trade experience required;
  • Be computer literate in the use of Microsoft office;
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer-facing skills;
  • Previous experience within a Parts role and/or within the industry, including customer service experience;
  • Possess a full UK driving licence;
  • Ability to work to deadlines;
  • Smart personal appearance.
