Our company is looking for a Service Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing customer relationships and providing a high level of customer service on site;
  • Contracting work on installations which included;
  • Cooling tower system analysis and treatment;
  • CWS Tank inspection and report;
  • Temperature monitoring and general HSG274/water hygiene tasks;
  • To undertake any other tasks, from time to time as required by the Service Manager commensurate with the salary of the post;
  • To commission new and modified / repaired machines and equipment;
  • Being able to use electrical knowledge on the electrical side of the system such as checking and maintenance of control panels and pumps;
  • Site visits to various clients across the South West;
  • Preventative maintenance inspections;
  • To maintain a high Company profile image, and personal appearance;
  • Servicing of timber engineering machinery to a planned schedule;
  • Playing a key role in the wider Service Engineer team, providing colleague support as required;
  • Perform other duties as required to assist in the efficient running of the company;
  • Development of the service department customer base, both existing and new.

Requirements:

  • Customer Excellence;
  • Organised and methodical working;
  • Experience of working within an ISO registered environment;
  • Able to complete paperwork in neat and timely manner;
  • 18th Edition Electrical Installation;
  • At least 3 years’ experience as a security engineer with access control and door entry work (5+ years for Senior-level);
  • Automated machinery experience;
  • Must have a recognised electrical qualification;
  • Be willing to work away from home if required;
  • Physically Fit- 100kg Barrels of waste to be transported into the van;
  • Significant experience as a true ‘multi-skilled (mechanical/electrical) engineer role;
  • Enjoy fault finding and problem solving;
  • Good interpersonal skills, with both clients and colleagues;
  • A basic understanding of electrical, including wiring and fault finding;
  • Time served apprentice trained/skilled or equivalent.
