Our company is looking for a Shift Maintenance Engineer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- In depth knowledge and practical hands on experience in a Production environment;
- Plan, prioritise and self-manage daily activity to be as efficient and effective as possible within this role;
- Maintaining the PPM regime;
- The individual must have the right of residence and to work in the UK. They should be located within the specified territory;
- Performing the daily activities on-site Planned Preventative Maintenance;
- Sound organisational and administrative abilities, and the ability to self-manage and plan a working week;
- Health and safety awareness;
- Embrace all company values, policies, procedures and business ethics codes and demonstrate them within all daily activity;
- Providing technical expertise to the occupants and landlord;
- Dealing with reactive maintenance tasks;
- Professional, friendly and resourceful approach and strength of character;
- Initiative led, driven and motivated, with a high level of commitment to customer satisfaction;
- Communicate at all levels within the business to ensure the customers’ expectations are exceeded in all that we do;
- Good communication skills (written & verbal);
- Ensuring that all statutory building compliance is upheld.
Requirements:
- Must have commercial maintenance experience;
- Worked in a similar role (Data Centre/Office Building) previously;
- Minimum of 20 days overtime;
- Company pension;
- Fault finding abilities are essential;
- Overtime paid at 1.5x Monday-Saturday and 2x on Sundays;
- Full Electrical or Mechanical qualifications to a minimum City & Guilds or equivalent (NVQ 2 or 3);
- Ongoing Training programme;
- Calibrated tools;

- Legionella awareness L8 (desirable);
- BS7671 17th Edition or 18th Edition preferred;
- Uniform;
- 17th Edition – Regulations (desirable).
