Residential Conveyancing Paralegal Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Residential Conveyancing Paralegal to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Dealing with client queries over the telephone and in person;
- General administration tasks;
- Some travel to Stratford upon Avon will be required;
- Preparation of standard documentation;
- Progress files through to post – completion;
- Liaising with the client by phone & email;
- Liaising with agents, lenders, and solicitors on the other side via email and telephone;
- Maintaining and preparing full attendance notes;
- Utilising case management software;
- File opening including CDD, SDLT returns, and Land Registry applications.
Requirements:
- Be able to work on own initiative and be pro-active;
- Good written and verbal communication skills;
- able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines;
- Good property experience, ideally a mixture of commercial and residential;
- An understanding of both registered and unregistered conveyancing;
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
