Residential Conveyancing Paralegal Job Description Template

Our company is looking for a Residential Conveyancing Paralegal to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Dealing with client queries over the telephone and in person;
  • General administration tasks;
  • Some travel to Stratford upon Avon will be required;
  • Preparation of standard documentation;
  • Progress files through to post – completion;
  • Liaising with the client by phone & email;
  • Liaising with agents, lenders, and solicitors on the other side via email and telephone;
  • Maintaining and preparing full attendance notes;
  • Utilising case management software;
  • File opening including CDD, SDLT returns, and Land Registry applications.

Requirements:

  • Be able to work on own initiative and be pro-active;
  • Good written and verbal communication skills;
  • able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines;
  • Good property experience, ideally a mixture of commercial and residential;
  • An understanding of both registered and unregistered conveyancing;
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
