Chartered Town Planner Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Chartered Town Planner to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Liaising with local planning authorities and third parties;
- Managing planning applications through the development process;
- Giving accurate and persuasive written and verbal arguments to clients and colleagues;
- Giving advice that assists in creating development proposals to suit the client’s requirements;
- Managing external consultant teams.
Requirements:
- An enthusiastic team player;
- Excellent written and verbal communication;
- At least 2 years’ planning experience, ideally within a consultancy, although they would also consider Local Authority backgrounds;
- Ideally MRTPI or on track to submit in the next two submission windows.
