Environmental Data Scientist Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Environmental Data Scientist to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Development of new approaches allowing faster, more efficient ways of working when managing data;
- Source relevant data covering ecotoxicity, biodegradation and physical-chemical properties for review in environmental risk assessment and systems;
- Ensure data and associated documents are correctly stored according to internal governance;
- Lead the update of data into new systems from existing databases;
- Review existing data and ensure materials and databases hold the most up to date relevant data.
Requirements:
- Strong team member;
- Well-developed communication and decision-making skills;
- At least one A level or equivalent in relevant scientific subjects, preference would be for Chemistry;
- Strong IT skills covering main Microsoft apps.
