Occupational Health Technician Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Occupational Health Technician to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Drug and alcohol testing;
- Driver medicals;
- Driving a mobile screening unit Nationwide (including UK & Ireland);
- Vision & skin assessments;
- Health promotion;
- Health Surveillance;
- Audiometry;
- Driving own vehicle and able to drive company van;
- Wellbeing Medicals;
- Medicals: Forklift truck driver, Safety critical, train drivers, Chester step testing;
- Health surveillance activities (spirometry, audiometry, vision, skin and general observations);
- Venepuncture;
- Spirometry.
Requirements:
- Ability to work autonomously;
- First aid at work educated is advantageous;
- Hold a full UK driving license;
- Previous health surveillance and OH experience and or fitness for work medicals;
- Able to complete overnight stays and extensive travel throughout the UK (overnight stays maybe Monday – Friday depending on client requirements);
- Competent user of the complete Microsoft office package.
