Our company is looking for a Senior Quality Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Routine control of product sterilization processes;
  • Review and approval of technical documents;
  • Generate control plans;
  • Participate and lead problem solving teams;
  • Process Risk Management / FMEA;
  • Supervision of Quality Engineers and Associate Quality Engineers during project activities;
  • Participate in cross-functional new product development teams with focus on the execution of quality plans and design transfer;
  • Supervision of Quality Engineers and other Quality staff;
  • To maintain all aspects of the Quality Management System, raising/updating procedures an SOP’s where required;
  • Maintain meeting structures to ensure full quality representation at daily meetings, including taking necessary actions to support the value stream;
  • Maintain and operate within IATF 16949 quality system requirements in addition to customer specific requirements;
  • Raise Concessions or Production Permits as applicable;
  • Manage and undertake internal and external audits ensuring all non-conformities raised are addressed in a timely manner;
  • Leading teams in root cause analysis;
  • Maintain and monitor the SPC management system.

Requirements:

  • Strong character to promote Quality requirements throughout the business in all departments;
  • Experience of administering and maintaining ISO9001:2015 QMS within a manufacturing environment;
  • Manage day to day activity of quality engineering and quality technician levels, as required;
  • Ideally having experience administering and overseeing Health and Safety across entire business;
  • Experience in statistical analysis / SPC / validation of automated equipment;
  • Experience in Medical Device Industry utilising automated equipment;
  • Degree in Engineering/Science Discipline and Quality Engineering Qualification;
  • Trained quality auditor with extensive experience of internal auditing;
  • Positive attitude and ability to get things done.
