Our company is looking for a Assistant Finance Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Continuous review of customer debt and cash allocation and escalate as necessary;
  • Analysis of financial data and production of management accounting information for business including benefits tracking;
  • Supporting other finance colleagues in their daily tasks including timely sales and purchasing;
  • Ensuring adherence to accounting rules, procedures and timescales;
  • Reporting P&L’s for the month;
  • Review cash flows, identify trends;
  • Streamlining existing financial processes to increase function performance;
  • To manage cash and expenditure;
  • Daily bank reconciliations and management;
  • Ensure that the appropriate levels of controls exist to prevent inaccurate reporting of results;
  • Production of monthly management accounts and month end reporting;
  • Monthly reporting of working capital and cash flow reporting;
  • Involve the team and engage them with our vision, goals & KPIs to create success;
  • Introduction of monthly cost reporting with commentary to accountable Senior Leadership team members;
  • Support with MI reporting.

Requirements:

  • Day to day responsibility for the accounting and financial activities in respect of specific entities and the holding companies;
  • Complete and review internal controls and balance sheet reconciliations as required i.e. monthly, quarterly, annually;
  • Lead the process for UK entities Statutory Accounts preparation & UK Group CT reporting, PAYE and associated payroll reporting, VAT submissions;
  • Analysis of any financial issues concerning the closing process and or accuracy of the data recorded;
  • Assist with the budget and forecasting cycle of specific entities;
  • Deputise for the UK Finance Manager as required;
  • Support the UK Finance Manager on accounting and financial analysis activities for all required entities;
  • Review internal control (SOX) matrix annually in conjunction with the UK Finance Manager.
