Our company is looking for a Assistant Property Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing admin support for the tenancy renewals team;
  • Ensuring EPC’s and Gas safety certificates are in date and arrange any renewals;
  • Dealing with tenants and assisting in requesting maintenance or repairs to be carried out;
  • Drafting tenancy agreements;
  • Chasing tenants on rent payments and renewals;
  • Update BOSS regularly with full contractor list, general site information and insurance documents;
  • Ensure all post for PM’s is sent out;
  • Upselling company services to generate new leads;
  • Update files regularly with correspondence and documents (scanned also). Ensure all insurance documents are up to date and current;
  • Liaising with sellers and buyers to facilitate sales;
  • Administrative support on credit control matters;
  • Dealing with solicitors and other professional bodies;
  • Managing sales progression and keeping sellers updated with their property’s activity;
  • Keep all work specifications for cleaning and landscaping contractors updated and saved on for each site;
  • Contact all contractors and suppliers, to change account details and invoicing address and obtain public liability insurances.

Requirements:

  • Natural problem solver;
  • Strong administration and IT skills;
  • Outstanding communication, organisation and diary management skills;
  • Ability to deal with and managing empathetically stressful and demanding Tenants and Landlords;
  • Dealing with solicitors and other professional bodies;
  • Liaising with sellers and buyers to facilitate sales;
  • Upselling company services to generate new leads;
  • Ideally experience in property/lettings or in a fast paced environment;
  • Confident and tenacious;
  • Excellent customer service skills;
  • Experience of managing social media platforms;
  • Good time management skills;
  • Strong verbal communication skills, and excellent written English;
  • Managing sales progression and keeping sellers updated with their property’s activity;
  • Extremely organised and able to manage a heavy workload.
