Our company is looking for a Chief Technology Officer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring targets for the development and deployment of all technological services are met;
  • Providing technical leadership and guiding a high-performance team in the execution of Agile product development;
  • Financial: Define budgets for the organisation’s technology and resources needs;
  • Product development around the Battery Management System (BMS), power management control system & related data capture;
  • Full development lifecycle management for new innovations around the existing product portfolio – through to product launch;
  • Team Management: Organise and motivate a team of engineers covering software development and operations, both on-shore and off-shore;
  • Identify market obstacles and technical hurdles and manage risks appropriately;
  • Develop technical aspects of the company’s strategy to ensure alignment with its business goals;
  • Develop the overall technical strategy for the company;
  • Help departments use technology profitably;
  • Monitor KPIs and IT budgets to assess technological performance;
  • Discover and implement new technologies that yield competitive advantage;
  • Communicate technology strategy to partners and investors;
  • Maximise the returns and benefits of investments in technology and tools;
  • Supervise system infrastructure to ensure functionality and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • With at least 5 years’ recent experience in a senior leadership role in a mid-sized organisation;
  • Proven track record of building, leading and developing multi-disciplinary teams;
  • Knowledge of successful technological environments;
  • Passionate about being innovative and pro-active in driving change to support other business functions with pace;
  • Preferably with a background in software development, database management or business intelligence;
  • Knowledge of latest technology trends;
  • Knowledge of change management;
  • Gravitas to influence at most senior level;
  • Determined, resilient and controlled under pressure;
  • Commercially astute;
  • Ability to identify and leverage resources internally and externally to enhance capabilities that drive digital business;
  • Ideally background / experience from co-working / leisure / hotel sectors;
  • Ability to lead an IT function;
  • 3 rd party supplier negotiations;
  • Software Development.
