Our company is looking for a Clinical Deputy Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Carrying out staff supervision and disciplinary hearings;
- Recruitment of staff;
- Implementing care plans using a person centred approach and ensuring that they are updated regularly;
- Providing management support to the Registered Manager;
- Working closely with families and external agencies;
- Ensuring that staff members adhere to policies and procedures;
- Ensuring that the health and safety of the residents and staff are adhered to;
- Promote a high standard and quality of life through effective care;
- Managing the nursing and healthcare teams; providing support, development and leadership;
- Ensuring care plans are correct and reviewed regularly;
- Working towards KPIs based around clinical audits and governance.
Requirements:
- Proven experience of post-qualification Practice in a health and social care setting with older people;
- Great written and verbal skills for communication and understanding;
- Good IT skills and confidence in computer based work;
- Previous experience of leading a team;
- Be able to work autonomously and within a multi-disciplinary team;
- Awareness and Understanding of NMC code of professional conduct;
- Flexibility on hours to work weekends and nights;
- NMC Registered Nurse;
- Proven clinical experience and knowledge;
- Have a positive and dynamic approach to providing safe and effective delivery of care;
- Ideally NVQ Level 5 health & social care or working towards;
- Experience of managing and leading a team of nurses;
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English;
- Post basic qualification in renal nursing such as diploma, ENB Course 136 or equivalent;
- Previous experience of leadership and supervising teams.
