Our company is looking for a Clinical Deputy Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out staff supervision and disciplinary hearings;
  • Recruitment of staff;
  • Implementing care plans using a person centred approach and ensuring that they are updated regularly;
  • Providing management support to the Registered Manager;
  • Working closely with families and external agencies;
  • Ensuring that staff members adhere to policies and procedures;
  • Ensuring that the health and safety of the residents and staff are adhered to;
  • Promote a high standard and quality of life through effective care;
  • Managing the nursing and healthcare teams; providing support, development and leadership;
  • Ensuring care plans are correct and reviewed regularly;
  • Working towards KPIs based around clinical audits and governance.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience of post-qualification Practice in a health and social care setting with older people;
  • Great written and verbal skills for communication and understanding;
  • Good IT skills and confidence in computer based work;
  • Previous experience of leading a team;
  • Be able to work autonomously and within a multi-disciplinary team;
  • Awareness and Understanding of NMC code of professional conduct;
  • Flexibility on hours to work weekends and nights;
  • NMC Registered Nurse;
  • Proven clinical experience and knowledge;
  • Have a positive and dynamic approach to providing safe and effective delivery of care;
  • Ideally NVQ Level 5 health & social care or working towards;
  • Experience of managing and leading a team of nurses;
  • Excellent communication skills with fluency in English;
  • Post basic qualification in renal nursing such as diploma, ENB Course 136 or equivalent;
  • Previous experience of leadership and supervising teams.
