Our company is looking for a Community Engagement Officer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing and maintaining a centralised in education out of school setting database;
  • Identifying and mapping local providers, as well as, risk assessing and monitoring the provision;
  • Providing advice, training and support to out of school and unregistered settings;
  • Undertaking work to understand the range and profile of out of school provisions operating in the local area;
  • Promoting safe guarding within local out of school settings;
  • Plan and organise events for the community such as our annual open day and the Levenseat Trust Acorn Awards;
  • Be responsible for a range of communications to increase awareness & understanding of Levenseats operations;
  • Coordinating and attending opportunities within the area to share key messages and ensure feedback from stakeholders;
  • Reviewing and developing the Activity Plan;
  • Coordinate educational visits with schools, further education establishments, community groups and community councils;
  • Support the development and delivery of a comprehensive school’s education package on the subject of waste & recycling;
  • Managing the activities budget;
  • Promoting, delivering and facilitating activities;
  • Undertaking case studies and keeping accurate records;
  • Report on progress in line with the Scotland excel official reporting structure, including preparing case studies.

Requirements:

  • Flexible, adaptable nature with the ability to work under pressure, in a calm manner;
  • Professional written and verbal communication;
  • Experience within Residential Property Lettings;
  • IT knowledge with experience of using Microsoft Office packages;
  • Good time/diary management;
  • Housing marketing knowledge of local area;
  • Able to work on own initiative, as well as part of a team;
  • Full UK driving licence and car.
