Our company is looking for a Deputy Care Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Carrying out visits to client’s homes, hospitals/care and nursing homes to carry out initial client assessments;
- Good Team player ability to liase with viarity of Care Home staff;
- Ensure quality and compliance are met in line with CQC;
- Monitor and ensure that the general standards of hygiene and cleanliness in relation to the premises and equipment are maintained;
- Actively participating in the growth and development of the business;
- Deputising for the Manager and be responsible in their absence, carrying out all the duties that his position entails;
- Client satisfaction reviews;
- Manage a team including, Care Workers and ancillary staff, ensuring best practice is carried out, and putting together appropriate care plans;
- Start-up of new packages of care with ongoing monitoring and review;
- Recruit, select and effectively supervise staff teams;
- Deputising for the Registered Manager;
- To make sure all provision is inline with CQC regulation;
- The Deputy Care Home Manager will support the Registered Care Home Manager in the day to day activities of running the home;
- Ensuring that staff are equipped with the necessary skills, through training, experience and supervision;
- Delivery of a quality service designed to meet the individual needs of all service users.
Requirements:
- Preferably have QCF level 5/Level 4 NVQ in Health and Social Care;
- Driver with UK license;
- Previous leadership experience within a Supported living service;
- 2 years domiciliary care experience;
- Full UK driving license;
- NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care;
- 2 years supervisor/ management experience.
