Our company is looking for a Deputy Care Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out visits to client’s homes, hospitals/care and nursing homes to carry out initial client assessments;
  • Good Team player ability to liase with viarity of Care Home staff;
  • Ensure quality and compliance are met in line with CQC;
  • Monitor and ensure that the general standards of hygiene and cleanliness in relation to the premises and equipment are maintained;
  • Actively participating in the growth and development of the business;
  • Deputising for the Manager and be responsible in their absence, carrying out all the duties that his position entails;
  • Client satisfaction reviews;
  • Manage a team including, Care Workers and ancillary staff, ensuring best practice is carried out, and putting together appropriate care plans;
  • Start-up of new packages of care with ongoing monitoring and review;
  • Recruit, select and effectively supervise staff teams;
  • Deputising for the Registered Manager;
  • To make sure all provision is inline with CQC regulation;
  • The Deputy Care Home Manager will support the Registered Care Home Manager in the day to day activities of running the home;
  • Ensuring that staff are equipped with the necessary skills, through training, experience and supervision;
  • Delivery of a quality service designed to meet the individual needs of all service users.

Requirements:

  • Preferably have QCF level 5/Level 4 NVQ in Health and Social Care;
  • Driver with UK license;
  • Previous leadership experience within a Supported living service;
  • 2 years domiciliary care experience;
  • Full UK driving license;
  • NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care;
  • 2 years supervisor/ management experience.
