Our company is looking for a Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Supervising cash handling and banking procedures;
- Promoting the hotel products and services;
- Ensuring the highest standards of service are delivered at all times;

- To oversee the Standard Operating Procedures on a daily basis and ensure all employees are correctly tasked in line with the needs of the business;
- Complying with all company and hotel standards, according to the standards manual and mission statements;
- Organising a team of drivers to make sure online orders are delivered on time;
- Be the manager on shift during service within the Open Lobby, or manage events;
- To work with the team and to help other departments so that a smooth efficient working environment is achieved;
- Positively dealing with and learning from customer complaints and comments;
- Dealing with the Just Eat online system, taking orders and problem shooting any issues;
- Dealing with any complaints efficiently and in accordance with company complaint polices alongside the Manager;
- To maximise the financial potential of the Restaurants and Bars – working in consultation with the Catering Manager and with other departments;
- To ensure there are accurate daily cash reconciliations and the correct procedures are followed for preparing bills, posting to accounts and banking;
- To handle guest queries promptly and efficiently.
Requirements:
- Previous Food and Beverage experience;
- Ability to work on your own or in teams;
- Good communication skills;
- Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations;
- Ability to lead and motivate a team;
- Contributing to planning for events, developments and the Lounge Bar Food and Beverage Strategy;
- Experience of using a POS touch screen system (MICROS) is preferable;
- An enthusiastic team player;
- To ensure all maintenance requirements are recorded and reported to Maintenance for appropriate action to be taken;
- To work in other departments from time to time as may be required to meet the needs of the business;
- Holding briefing sessions with personnel prior to functions to ensure communication and assist with the planning process;
- Great eye for detail and quality;
- To ensure all functions are operated to the required standard and as per the details laid out by the client in the function sheets;
- 1-2 years Food & Beverage supervisory experience in a hotel or similar environment;
- Responding to short, medium and long terms business needs.
