Responsibilities:

  • Outbound prospecting to target the assigned market segment;
  • Articulating a sales pitch effectively, securing meetings for the wider business to promote Mimecast;
  • Develop leads into prospects by understanding their challenges/needs and effectively communicating value;
  • Effectively utilize the lead qualification process as well as documenting sales information in Salesforce following the lead process;
  • Following up all marketing campaigns to qualify leads in an effective manner;
  • Articulating and promoting the business and its key services;
  • Identify high potential prospects and transition the qualified lead to the New Business Analyst for further follow-up;
  • Qualify and Identify prospect needs by leveraging key contacts within an organization;
  • Responsible for meeting weekly goals and established metrics;
  • Follow-up on trials with no response and usage activity;
  • Cold calling with a professional telephone manner;
  • Other duties as assigned;
  • Profiling a dedicated target list to generate opportunities in those accounts;
  • Utilize the sales tools provided;
  • Follow the sales process utilizing the lead scoring system.

Requirements:

  • Excellent time management skills;

  • Experience in lead qualification, outbound prospecting and lead development management;
  • Experience with Salesforce;
  • Results oriented, capable of bringing prospects to the next step in the sales process;
  • Strong communication skills; ability to reach prospects creatively, position solution/products;
