Our company is looking for a Group Finance Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Strengthening control framework;
  • Prepare the debt compliance reporting for external loan facilities, closely monitoring covenant compliance and headroom;
  • VAT & CIS reporting;
  • Undertake both month end and year end duties;
  • Preparation of monthly and quarterly accounts across multiple group entities;
  • Ad-hoc coverage for the Group Finance Director on occasion;
  • Lead the annual external audit process;
  • Liaising closely with FC’s in subsidiary businesses, maintaining positive relationships;
  • Compiling monthly reports for UK Directors and Parent Company;
  • Responsible for the preparation of cashflow forecasts and associated treasury duties;
  • Developing and standardising processes and controls;
  • Preparation of ancillary reports to support management accounts;
  • Preparation of group corporation tax;
  • Preparation of group annual accounts and management of the external audit;
  • Communicate and explain accounting issues and evolving accounting guidance to Senior Management.

Requirements:

  • Experience working within the real estate, private equity or private equity sector;
  • Representation at business team meetings, support and challenge throughout the business;
  • Develop, implement and maintain the internal audit programme to ensure the company complies with financial procedures and regulations;
  • Statutory Accounts Production for the group of companies;
  • Lead role on external audit;
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of any financial legislative changes;
  • Intermediate excel and word skills;
  • Deliver improved financial processes and controls;
  • Qualified (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent);
  • You will have experience of working with listed businesses;
  • A self-starter with the ability to clearly articulate issues, challenges and approach to resolution;
  • Role will suit a Top 4 or Top 10 trained ACA Qualified Accountant with a robust technical knowledge of IFRS;
  • Must possess a strong analytical capacity;
  • Previous experience in a Group Finance Manager or Group Financial Controller role is desired but not essential;
  • Knowledge of US GAAP is preferred but not essential.
