Our company is looking for a Group Product Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Recommend pricing and tactical promotions for new and existing product implementation;
  • Monitor the performance of business cases, being accountable for their success/failure;
  • Create comprehensive brand and business growth strategy for region, leveraging team’s global capabilities and competencies;
  • Presentations to internal teams and key strategic retail accounts;
  • Lead, manage and develop direct and indirect reports and cross-functional teams;
  • Regularly communicate all updates to relevant stakeholders;
  • Build and maintain strong market knowledge through regular sales and customer contact;
  • Manage P&L for region, ensuring profitability within the assigned market segments. Manage price and promotional programming for categories;
  • Aid in developing and implementing marketing initiatives to maximise product awareness;
  • Market and competitor analysis;
  • Pricing and promotion management with a key focus on profit and sales growth;
  • Product training on current and new ranges and product information bulletins;
  • New Product Development (NPD);
  • Continually review product portfolio performance, recommend and implement actions where negative or poor performance occurs;
  • Identify and analyse new product opportunities in line with group strategy.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable knowledge of the home interiors sector;
  • Educated to degree level or above in a relevant discipline;
  • Portfolio management experience: tracking, ROS, loyalty, gaining customer feedback;
  • Knowledge of carpets, textiles or soft furnishings is essential;
  • Prepared to undertake occasional international travel as required as part of the role;
  • 5+ years of Product Management experience;
  • Strong presentation, interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral);
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills;
  • Financial management skills;
  • Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office, particularly strong Excel;
  • Full UK driving licence;
  • Expertise in all aspects of product management including NPD process from concept to instore and discontinuations.
