Head of Credit Risk Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Head of Credit Risk to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Continual optimisation of credit policy across all portfolios;
- Development and ongoing maintenance of credit risk strategies;
- Develop risk based pricing frameworks;
- Represent the company in credit risk related matters;
- Ensuring new business and overall portfolio performance remain within Board approved credit risk appetite;
- To develop forecasting statistical models to ensure that the financial and lending objectives are met;
- Develop lending polices and strategies to optimize the risk and pricing trade off;
- Monitoring of policies and affordability rules;
- Develop the data warehouse and risk reporting system together with the CFO;
- Delivering initiatives in line with overall business plans.
Requirements:
- First class decision making, planning and prioritising skills;

- Strong and persuasive communicator, at all levels, with Executive Committee reporting experience;
