Our company is looking for a Head of Finance to join our team.


  • Oversee all driving improved controls and processes across an international remit;
  • Production of all financial reporting and management accounts;
  • Responsible for ensuring and continually improving robust financial controls;
  • Be responsible for all elements of the company payroll and manage the outsourced payroll provider;
  • Preparation of monthly payroll;
  • Strong inerface into operations;
  • Identify opportunities and drive process improvement;
  • Advising the Finance team during budgeting;
  • Preparing monthly performance schedules for the company;
  • Building and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders;
  • Building out a full team as the business scales including and FP&A function;
  • Establishing sound financial controls;
  • Implement and maintain SOX controls;
  • Manage the credit control department;
  • Leadership of a small team including training, recruitment and development.


  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified;
  • Budgeting;
  • Strong Excel user;
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA or similar);
  • Experience of working within the Charity Sector at a senior level;
  • ACMA;
  • Education;
  • an accountancy qualification is desirable, though not essential;
  • chartered status;
  • Birmingham;
  • Staff Management;
  • Strong Excel, ERP and financial modelling skills;
  • will have a fantastic track record in senior financial management, contractual compliance and reporting;
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels;
  • Previous experience within the healthcare sector would be highly desirable.
