Head of Internal Communications Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Head of Internal Communications to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Embedding best practice 2-way channels, such as Sharepoint, Office 365, Workplace by Facebook or Yammer;
- Managing team resourcing and budgets and planning for on-going training and development needs across the team;
- Lead the planning and provision of content for events and workshops as required, ensuring effective internal crisis management systems are in place;
- Maintaining effective research, measurement and evaluation mechanisms to provide assurance on all internal communications activity.
Requirements:
- Exceptional attention to detail;
- Excellent writing skills;
- Experience overseeing a small team;
- Experience working in internal communications or a related marketing communications’ discipline;
- Experience of working to tight deadlines;
- Experience of multi-tasking and being able to prioritise projects/tasks/assignments.
