Our company is looking for a Head of Marketing and Communications to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Advising on other stakeholder engagement and management;
  • Undertake other tasks as agreed with the director;
  • Lead on the development of a database of image and video content for use across all outlets and platforms;
  • To develop any research programme which provide knowledge of the event industry or markets which the client operate in;
  • Identify opportunities for strategic partnerships in conjunction with the Commercial team;
  • Reporting to Director level the outputs from the team;
  • To ensure effective internal communications through our existing communication channels;
  • To manage the day to day effectiveness of the Marketing and Communications team including individual development and outputs;
  • To oversee delivery of the venue marketing plan in line with the company strategy;
  • Manage supplier, client and journalist relationships;
  • Recruitment and resource management;
  • To develop and forge strong working relationships between Marketing and Communications, and other departments;
  • To ensure maximum exposure of the company brand identity both internally and externally;
  • Collaborate with key brands and successfully implement brand collaboration campaigns;
  • Conduct relevant reporting activities to measure the efficiency and commercial success of campaigns across all teams.

Requirements:

  • Marketing Campaigns;
  • Communication skills;
  • Have experience of leading a team and using organisational insight to advise senior leaders;
  • Have the ability to anticipate and spot breaking news stories and drive the team to issue swift, robust and appropriate responses;
  • A relevant Marketing degree or equivalent qualification;
  • Substantial experience in devising, implementing and evaluating marketing communication campaigns, underpinned by insight, in complex environments;
  • Experience leading the development of integrated communication strategies;
  • Marketing Communications;
  • Marketing Manager;
  • An attention to detail that ensures their work is always of the highest standard and representative of marketing excellence;
  • Considerable experience of project managing complex creative campaigns: generating ideas, driving process and evaluating success;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Highly numerate and analytical in regard to sales, audience data and budget management;
  • A team player, working collaboratively and professionally with all ATG departments / colleagues and external stakeholders;
  • Leadership skills that inspire and motivate others.
